about

In a modern world with our lives being more and more busy, we’re forgetting to be childish. Forgetting the juvenile inside of us. When we were free from concerns, free from expectations. When we only thought the best of people. We’ve forgot about our childhood, forgot to stop up and listen to our inner child. Forgot about our dreams. Forgot that it is good for us to have dreams and to follow them.
Juvenile was the last song to be written for the EP, and the final writing was done the same day as it was recorded.

lyrics

Surfing through the concrete wrapped in city lights
Faces feel like stone - no meaning in their lives
I wonder when they lost their dreams

People don’t
Believe in things like lullabies
Childhood fantasies
And the youth
They lost somewhere along the line

Working through the day and sleeping in the night
Forgetting that there ever was a burning light
I wonder if they'll ever see

People don’t
Believe in things like lullabies
Childhood fantasies
And the youth
They lost somewhere along the line

Juvenile
Juvenile

People don’t
Believe in things like lullabies
Childhood fantasies
And the youth
They lost somewhere along the line

Riotous guitars, insistent beats, and captivating melodies: this is the essence of The Oceans. Formed in 2014 by Copenhagen multi-instrumentalists Dan Joe & Linus Valdemar, the duo sounds like their city feels – a pulsing, paradoxical sea of chaos, noise, and serenity. ... more
